Planning

Planning for Healthcare facilities requires extra care and attention. Our design team is informed by Universal Design principles, Accessibility Design Standards and Evidence Based Design theory. We’ll work with you to create wayfinding that reduces stress and contributes to a healing experience for patients, families, and the medical support team.
We’ll engage healthcare advisors and work with you to form a committee of clinical and medical staff, foundations, and patient advocates who can give valuable insight and recommendations during the planning process.
Design

Signage Project:

Working collaboratively, we explore their designs across a variety of materials and applications and share industry best practice. Our design team becomes an extension of our collaborators’, resulting in an efficient, seamless design process.
Wayfinding System:
Wayfinding design rests at the intersection of architecture and design. We blend evidence-based design, circulation flow, Canadian accessibility standards, our client’s brand design, and, where the environment is already built, existing wayfinding elements.
Features such as landscaping, illumination, wall colours, and works of art can be meaningful and effective contributors to wayfinding. We’ll work with you to integrate these variables into a cohesive wayfinding system that is easy for users to navigate, and our in-house accessibility experts will ensure it meets the latest standards.

Manufacturing
We breathe life into 2D design. We work hard to understand the design intent then use the best materials, applications, and technologies to ensure the end product is beyond exceptional.
Signage Project:
Whether we’re creating shop signs, custom wooden signs, office signage, outdoor business signs or channel letters, our signs are made from a combination of old and new world technology.
Hand-mixed paints, traditional carpentry, hand carving and gold leaf application are combined with modern tools such as 3D routers and laser engravers to create one-of-a-kind products that set our customer’s signs apart.
Wayfinding System:
We use the latest manufacturing trends nationally and internationally in combination with inspirational craft, industrial grade materials, and state-of-art technology to create navigational signage that stands above the rest in design, quality and longevity.
